EU4EU trainees are students enrolled in the first, second, or third cycle of studies at universities within the Italian, Spanish, French, and Portuguese national consortia. Coming from diverse academic backgrounds, they participate in the program with a minimum B1 level of English proficiency, an essential requirement to fully embrace this international experience.
Supported by the Erasmus+ program, participants receive a scholarship and insurance coverage for civil liability and workplace accidents, ensuring security and peace of mind throughout their traineeship.
The data updated to 2024 shows a steady increase in the participation of students with a scientific research background, reflecting the growing demand for scientific expertise in today’s job market. This trend highlights not only the rising interest in opportunities within the research sector but also the ability of the EU4EU program to respond effectively to the current professional landscape.
In addition to scientific research, participants primarily come from the fields of law, political science and international relations, IT and engineering, and economics and business administration. The universities with the highest number of trainees include the University of Lille, the University of Tuscia, the University of Naples Federico II, and the University of Zaragoza.
EU4EU offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience, develop professional skills, and successfully navigate the challenges of the international job market.
