20 Apr EU4EU Call 2026 Results: Spain and Portugal

The EU4EU network confirms its momentum in early 2026 with the successful conclusion of the February–March call, designed specifically to award additional Erasmus+ scholarships for students enrolled in Spanish and Portuguese universities.
This targeted call was announced as a strategic initiative building on the strong results achieved in 2025, aimed at consolidating EU4EU’s presence in Spain and Portugal while awaiting the usual October call. The response from students and host organisations has been encouraging, reinforcing the network’s capacity to mobilise quickly and effectively.
Results of the February–March 2026 Call
At the close of the Matching Phase on 20 March 2026, 76 students from Spanish and Portuguese universities successfully completed the matching process, securing a Letter of Acceptance from a host organisation within the EU4EU network. Of these, 25 Erasmus+ mobility scholarships were awarded, supporting students in undertaking high-quality international traineeships across Europe.
These figures reflect the targeted nature of the call — focused, efficient and designed to maximise the impact of available funding for two key partner countries within the network.
A growing network
The February–March call represents a further step in the continued growth of the EU4EU network. This dedicated call demonstrates EuGen’s commitment to expanding access to international professional experience and reinforcing the network’s impact beyond the standard annual cycle. These results would not have been possible without the continued support and dedication of our partner universities and national coordinators, whose collaboration remains essential to the success of every call.
The results confirm that EU4EU is able to generate meaningful outcomes for students and host organisations alike — maintaining the quality standards and administrative clarity that have made the programme a trusted framework for Erasmus+ mobility across Europe.
